For many years, Don Turner was far more than a gym teacher at Most Pure Heart. He was a constant presence, mentor, and friend to generations of students. Don had a remarkable gift for remembering every name and making sure every child felt included, valued, and encouraged. Whether it was parachute day, climbing the rope hanging from the structure, dodgeball, or racing around on gym scooters, his classes were filled with joy, laughter, and lifelong memories. He worked tirelessly for our school and community, often balancing multiple jobs, including coaching sports and working at Walmart, yet he always showed up with a smile and a kind word.

Don’s faith, dedication, and genuine care for children shaped countless lives. As we renovate the gymnasium in his honor, we invite you to give in remembrance of the time, energy, and love he so generously gave to each of us.
